Nothing can be seen in the deep darkness. All around you are the beeping of the control panel alarms and your electrical systems popping static. You are trying to make your way through the nebula to what you believe is an escape to safety. The ship sensors are telling you that something sinister is lurking just ahead. The screams of your ship's buckling hull are getting louder with each passing moment. Your right leg burns with pain. Sweat soaking your flight suit. In the distance, the nebula appears to open up. Just as you begin to focus on a distant glint in the darkness the entire space lights up in a brilliant flashing light. All your vision is engulfed by a large gaping maw bearing down on you....
