Charlie Viliana at age 2 was found alive in the cargo hold of a pirate ship by a Gallente patrol. The remaining crew of the pirate ship were all dead, although the reason for their deaths has never been fully explained.

Adopted by the female first officer of the Gallente ship, Charlie has grown up in the community of pilots that have made Gallente what it is today.
