After a nice study at the University of Caille soon transfered to the Federation Navy Academy. There Katie Nardieu learned a lot about security and more importantly the art of combat.

During the study at the University of Caille she found out that even though she was being taught she was a Gallente Activist, she really was a decendent of the Dutch. The Dutch were inhabitants of a small place called 'The Netherlands' on the planet Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy.
After finding old relics she became a Master on Linquistics of the Dutch language. She also found out that the Dutch were masters in using ships and were the best in forming fleets. The Silverfleet is one of the most acknowledged fleets in history of planet Earth. Soon after she learned about her family history she joint the Federation Navy.

So now she is one of a few people in EVE that knows how to communicate in Dutch and she stimulate people to use that former language when adressed.
