Though born of pure Amarr blood, Yuri's family was never wealthy, nor well-respected, nor invited to any of the cool parties. When his father finally passed away as the result of a freak walnut mishap, Yuri inherited the family estate at the age of fifty-four.
Yuri had a particularly shady genealogist draft a family tree that showed him to be the three-hundred-and-seventy-ninth heir in line to the Udorian throne. He concocted a plan to have the three-hundred-and-seventy-eight heirs ahead of him assassinated by increasingly absurd means. It failed on the very first attempt.
Fallen from disgrace - no mean feat in itself - Yuri became the victim of cruel retaliation. His betters pelted him with walnuts until he cried "uncle" and agreed to become a capsuleer, never to set foot on a planet again.
Yuri now plies the stars for fame and fortune, forgotten, embittered, and frequently drunk.
