Michiko Arasaka (荒坂 美知子) was born on Dodixie as the daughter of Kei Arasaka and a Gallente citizen mother of Jin-Mei descent. Due to connections to Arasaka Corporation, she and her mother were kept secret and hidden on Dodixie VI to avoid them becoming a target. Michi's father also wanted to avoid her from meeting her grandfather Saburo, who would be displeased that his granddaughter was half-Gallente. After finishing high school, Michiko was admitted into University of Caille, where she majored in molecular biosciences and biotechnology.
