Vixen Vanity was born into a family of bankers on the Intaki Bank Depository station around TXW-EI I. From a young age, the ancient tales of lost civilizations were her lullabies, passed down by her grandmother, an esteemed Intaki elder. Her family’s ties in Poitot secured her education on Intaki Prime, where she corroborated lore passed down by other Intaki elders. The tales of lost empires and mysteries hidden within Anoikis captivated her, especially the enigmatic Sleepers. Their stories of transcending death and merging with the unknown resonated with her, aligning perfectly with the Intaki’s philosophy of life, death, and rebirth.
Her education on Intaki Prime culminated in a prestigious transfer to the University of Caille in Bourynes, where her passion for science and philosophy flourished. She focused on neural technologies and consciousness theories, particularly the fragmented research into the Sleepers' forgotten advancements. Though considered taboo by some, this field seemed to offer the key to unlocking deeper cosmic mysteries. Despite her academic success, Vixen yearned for more than just scholarly achievement. She dreamed of joining the Sisters of EVE, hoping to contribute to humanity's understanding of the universe. But fate had other plans.
As a newly minted capsuleer, Vixen set her sights on the uncharted regions of Anoikis, venturing into wormhole space to uncover the enigmatic ruins and technologies of the Sleepers. She spent some time in the Sisters of EVE stations in Thera as an independent capsuleer. She also explored other systems in Anoikis, noting the capsuleers living there. This time in Anoikis only deepened her fascination with their cryptic legacy. With each new revelation, her understanding of herself and her place in the cosmos evolved.
