At YC118, his older brother died in a long skirmish near the Etsala consellation. From the assets and contacts his brother had with the Calday Navy, Datx started his career as a capsuleer. He spent almost two years in the Guristas frontline, fighting the pirates outpost and generating savings for his future projects.
Near the end of YC120, with interest on joining forces with other capsuleers, he joined a few corporations to participate in their fleets. After trial and error, he landed on the Pandemic Horde alliance, one of the biggest null sec entities in New Eden. In PH, he participated mainly in the activities of pirate hunting, mining and fleet operations.
Back in YC120-121, PH was staged on the Geminate region, but next door there were some big chunk of conselations in the capsuleer-called regions "Dronelands" that were completely unused (or suboptimaly). Inspired by this lucrative opportunity, he started to develop experimental fits to efficiently kill the Drones DED's, optimizing damage and necesary durability, after all, the Drones faction packs some good damage in their ships. Initially the protoypes used the Vexor Navy Issue as the ship to fit, not only the ship proved insuficient, but in mid-YC121 the VNI series was modified to adapt it's combat capabilities, effectively removing it as a viable option for the project.
He set the Heavy Assault Cruiser Ishtar as the main ship to experiment with. Even with the base upgrades of the ship, it still proved insufficient at surviving the toughest waves of the Drone Hordes, even with the mobility of a 100MN Afterburner. The project progressed its text-iterations until YC122, where he achieved a stable fit. A fit that could not only survive the dps of a large amount of Drone Battleships, but was cap-stable, and had a lot of damage itself with the use of Praetors and Drone Damage Amplifiers. This discovery booted a ratting playstyle for many capsuleers in the future.
Sadly, even with his loyalty and contibutions tothe alliance, in YC125, he was betrayed by the executors of PH under a false accusation. He was forced not only to leave the PH systems, but to rescue his capital flagship, the "SS Hyperion" Chimera-class carrier.
From that day, he swore revenge against the Horde, for he served with might and unity, and was
