The man in front of me gurgled and shook violently as blood poured out of his gut. He knew that this were his final moments and that I, his most trusted servant, was the one who pushed the blade into his body. One more twist and the man was no more. The beast that killed my parents and made me his slave was dead. I felt a strange kind of relief.
The escape from Danera IV was easy. My master was an influential Holder. He had me trained to fly frigate-class ships, and he had frequently sent me on errands throughout the constellation. No guard in his right mind would stop me from boarding my Magnate class frigate – as long as no one would find the body.
I punched in my destination with trembling fingers: Hek. My people would be there, ready to welcome me back to the tribe.
When I got there, the slavers were there too. The "imperial crusade" was raging through Minmatar systems. I changed my knife for a Vigil class frigate and fought them along side my brothers and sisters. Autocannons roared, my rockets struck their godless golden vessels. Again slaver's blood flowed. The fight raged and still the struggle continues today, but my path eventually led elsewhere.
At last, after having been enslaved, hunted and after having seen many battles, I am back home, under the lifetree with the clans. Peace of mind will come... some day.
