Tenatz Cazios, formerly operating under the alias "The Silver Shadow", was born and left as an orphan on the planet Nemantizor, where he lived a harsh life struggling in the slums of Lekam until the age of fifteen when he reached the required age of army enlistment. In the Imperial Army he underwent basic training and after several years of serving as a soldier, showing great merit, he was recognized for having a great tactical abilities.

He was quick to work his way up the difficult intelligence operation ladder and during the first years in the intelligence services he was assigned to negotiate and collaborate with corporations of the Caldari State and during a brief stint he served for the Emperor Family and the Court Chamberlein. This allowed him to gain the reputation and funding to be allowed to be accepted into the prestigious Imperial Academy at a relatively advanced age for capsuleers. After graduating with honors in Special Operations he used his connections to fund his projects and soon established a trading company with trusted companions from his opaque background.
