Long ago before the age of Guristagram, PewTube and Spacebook made stupid people famous and generally made the galaxy a worse place to live, our hero, Goliath Scorpion was born.
At the time, real time strategists were in vogue, and so it only seemed fitting to name himself after one of the great MechWarrior Clans, and afterall, it just seemed like such a cool name. At the time.
Goliath Scorpion spent his early years as an outlaw and a pirate. A shit one at that. After spending months training to fly a tech 2 frigate, as well as running level 2 missions to afford one, he was uncerimoniously blown out of the sky on his first venture into low security space. He returned home in his pod, cried himself to cryosleep and woke up to discover twenty years had passed.
Finding that the galaxy was had become a much more forgiving place in his absence, our hero decided he was ready to turn over a new leaf. He found he could be spoonfed a new career as an intrepid explorer and treasure hunter. Before long he was off into wormholes turning over more money that he'd ever seen in his previous life, and in a cheap tech 1 frigate to boot!
His only problem was that with twenty years of hindsight, he found his name a bit cringe. But with no way to change that, he decided to just lay low, hack data sites, pillage relic sites and dodge the kind of people he used to aspire to be.
Has our hero, Goliath Scorpion left his dark urges and wayward ways in the deep past forever?
